The beginning

After a long search of lands, we decided to start using my uncle's land which is left uncultivated for a long period of time. The problem is this land is the last piece in the whole cultivable area in that village. where all the cultivable has to take water from the near by lake. As no one is farming in the village, the canals was naturally closed and there is no water supply for our land.

The struggle:
A year back from now, as a interest in taking water, we invested nearly a lakh rupee in digging a bore well in the land as there is no water. We tested with the latest technologies to locate the water rich spots in our lands, there where two spots and we started with the first one with 8 inches bore well. There were plenty of water when reached 20th feet. the operators stopped by 95th feet as there is lots of boulders and can't proceed, if done the driller will be locked.

Then we decided to leave till 95th feet and try for the other spot. To the wonderful bad day there is very less water when gone till 450 feet. With the two days of struggle we stopped the plan.

To the wonder, now both the bore wells are full of water that we can see from 5 feet from ground level. The bad part is there is no power to install a submersed pump. We are struggling to get electricity, but as the nearest pole is some 500 feet away from out land, there are lots to invest to bring poles nearby.
